Today i got the news i had been waiting for since i got out of bootcamp: where my first duty station is going to be. Of course, i was told that you got a "wish list" of places where you wanted to be stationed. This list included three general choices, West Coast, East Coast, Overseas. I put in for West Coast. I got overseas. That's the Marine Corp way. So today i found out that i'll be spending the next year of my life halfway around the world, in Okinawa, Japan, FSSG Third Marine Division. The good news is that i might get a couple days leave before i head over there, so i might be home in time for the Fourth of July. Please let's have fun, and some Bacardi, cause after this, it's only be Saki for me =)
hey everyone. if you see me, give me a hug because i am sad. i got rear ended yesterday off the 101 tully road exit. it's still driveable, but it looks pretty fucked up. my stepdad said that the damage is worth more the car so we're gonna have to scrap it. i'm excited about getting a new car, but man... it's hard to let go. i'm being serious when i say that the feeling of scrapping the tercel is like losing a loved one in your life. well, i'm sure by this week you'll see me with a new car. if you want to see how bad it looks, go to my blog. that's all. now i feel like getting drunk.
